Aida is bold, confident, and most importantly, rich beyond your wildest dreams. She is also, thankfully, fairly charitable, and has no problem giving away her parents' ill-gotten riches. She loves attending Krytan balls where she can pick up rumors and quests with which to investigate and test her skills.
Aida Hana was born in 1302 AE to two extremely rich Elonan nobles in Vabbi. Her parents owned a wine-trading enterprise that supplied a small portion of the world's supply of Elonian wine for use in Mystic Forge recipes. However, the business itself was not notably profitable, at least not enough to explain the massive amounts of money in the Hana family's coffers.
No, the Hana family wealth came from their other job: helping Palawa Joko. The Hana family would hunt down forbidden knowledge and eradicate it, replacing it with Joko-approved tomes and scrolls. They would also rat out dissenters of Joko's reign and turn them over to the lich in exchange for extravagant rewards. This secondary enterprise was much more profitable, to the point that the wine-trading business was basically being solely funded by Joko blood money.
This is where Aida comes in. She served the lich faithfully alongside with her parents. However, one day, Aida's curiosity got the better of her, and instead of burning a history book she found, she kept it and read it. The contents within shocked Aida to her core.
Among the pages was a chapter on the Order of the Sunspears, legendary Paragons of yore that fought against Joko in the past. Flipping through pages and skimming the contents, Aida recognized many familiar names. Names of her ancestors, Sunspears who betrayed their comrades to work for the lich in exchange for protection and wealth.
Aida's eyes were opened, and she began searching for the remaining Sunspears so that they would teach her to become a Paragon. Sadly, the Paragons no longer exist in their current form in Elona, so she didn't find any of those.
Instead, she found a wandering Spellbreaker, a warrior whose specialization descended from the legendary Sunspears. Aida tried to pay the Spellbreaker a large amount of money to teach her his techniques. The warrior refused the money, instead offering to help Aida in exchange for a vow of secrecy. She accepted.
Aida spent a year sneaking out and training with the warrior at night. Unfortunately, on one fateful night, Aida's parents caught her as she was on her way to another training session. She gave them an excuse that she accidentally dropped something out of her window and was going to retrieve it, but her parents weren't buying it, and so while Aida's mother searched for the item Aida supposedly dropped, her dad dragged her back to her room and locked her door from the outside. Furious at this mistreatment, Aida fumed silently. She thought about all of the years she had spent serving Palawa Joko and how much her family benefited from causing suffering to others. These thoughts stewed in her head until it reached a boiling point.
Aida waited a bit for her parents to go back to bed and then destroyed the door lock with one of her training daggers. She began escaping the estate, scooping up some of her parents' valuables and stuffing them into a bag on her way out. Aida also made extra sure to steal any Palawa Joko statues she found, with the idea that she would destroy them as soon as she was safe. She picked a direction and traveled there, confident her parents' wealth would help her on her way. She unwittingly ended up heading south toward Kourna, closer to the lich she hated so much.
Fortunately, that was the best thing Aida could have done for herself. In the distance, through the black of night, Aida could see lights. It was an army. It turns out at that very moment, Dragon's Watch was rolling across Elona with an army in tow to invade Palawa Joko's domain and eliminate him. Aida hurried to join the fight, hiding away her stolen wealth and snatching up a set of armor. By sheer luck, she met with her spellbreaker teacher once more, this time on the frontlines of an epic battle. Aida fought valiantly alongside her mentor, and her efforts helped with Dragon's Watch's campaign. Soon, victory was achieved, and Palawa Joko was no more.
Once Joko had been dealt with, Aida escaped Elona with the help of the Rose Vanguard, a band of Sylvari fighters who were assisting in overthrowing Joko. Once in Tyria, she used their much more advanced and abundant waypoint system to travel to the Ossan District in Divinity's Reach, where she, yet again, met with her spellbreaker teacher, who had also fled once the fighting had ceased. Aida spent the next year perfecting her Spellbreaker techniques.
Today, Aida lives in the Ossan district. She passed off reasonably well as a wealthy refugee. In exchange for helping her flee Elona, Aida pledged her daggers to the Rose Vanguard as an independent ally, and she occasionally joins them on missions. When she's not fighting, she's relaxing in relative peace and luxury.
Sexuality: Bisexual - Prefers women
Behavior: Romantic or Dom
Turn-ons: Nipple pulling, boob play, passionate lovemaking
Turn-offs: Aggressive partners
Special Sexual Trait: Romantic lover, immune to seductive magic
Due to Aida's spellbreaker abilities, she is immune to seductive magic, such as: Anna's Songs and Maiko's Marks. She can also see through shapeshifting magic, which means she can see Alice's true form.
She is always on the lookout for a passionate romantic night out (with the occasional fucking, with some boob play in there somewhere). Aida also loves to tease and titillate, and may make potential suitors (male or female) work for their prize.
