Why I started running

In 2015 I was working at Katy High School and along with two other math teachers, I decided that I would volunteer to be a mentor teacher to a group of students Katy Students Run (KSR). It is a nonprofit organization that focuses on promoting healthy choices & developing character by training local high school students in Katy, Tx for the Aramco Houston 13.1! I had never ran before this and little did I know, it would change my life.
