Two of the world's greatest ancient empires existed at the same time.
One dominated the most fertile lands of the Asian continent while the other ruled over the lands surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. Between them lay the world's highest mountains and largest deserts, natural borders that made each one a good neighbour. But geographical barriers would eventually be no match for the human spirit, even spurring on its curiosity as to what lies beyond. And so the people of these lands would eventually meet.
This is their story, our history and possibly our future.
