Dr. Wieserman is a UPJ alumna. "Being a part of UPJ is a tremendous honor. I began my journey at UPJ in 2008 as a homeschooled, first-generation student, and today I am proud to serve as a tenured faculty member. It is truly a privilege to be part of the UPJ family."
Laura Ritchey, Chemistry I have absolutely loved being able to develop close relationships with students in the classroom, and even closer relationships with students who join in with my research. It is exciting to be able to share my passion for the beautiful details of chemistry and biochemistry with students and see them grasp complicated topics. It's also rewarding to see the accomplishments students achieve while at UPJ and then to see them thrive beyond graduation!
Sofya Marishapova, Mathematics "At UPJ we have such amazing students who are all motivated to learn. Teaching a course over the semester or mentoring a student on a research project gives me the chance to see these students grow into young people with confidence in their mathematical abilities. The friendly atmosphere of UPJ and the amazing professionalism of my colleagues here make my job very enjoyable."
Stephan Ohl, Computer Science
Stephanie Jimenez, Psychology, was promoted to the rank of Professor. "The most rewarding part of working at UPJ is developing relationships with students. It's a privilege to play a small role in their growth throughout their time here."
