“We don’t remember the death, we remember how they lived”- Rev. Father Norman I. Quilaguil, OP. The Colegio remembers the death anniversary of Rev. Fr. Teodulo Cajigal, OP., the founder of Holy Rosary Academy, now known as Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Manaoag. They honor the founder’s legacy through a Catholic mass and offering of flowers and candles last November 29, 2021, in front of the St. Vicente Liem Dela Paz Building. It was presided by Rev. Father Norman I. Quilaguil, OP. The students participated in the celebration through live streaming at the Campus Youth Ministry Facebook Page. The institution also remembered the legacy of Father Cajigal and how he founded the Holy Rosary Academy in Manaoag in 1940 to provide catholic education for the children. Some town folks remember him walking through small streets to give candies and coins to little children as his way of showing his affection. One day, he decided to give more to these people, eventually founding the said catholic educational institution.

Indeed Rev. Fr. Teodulo Cajigal, OP. expressed his appreciation for education through founding the Holy Rosary Academy. Today, people still celebrate his name and legacy as he was a model of generosity and compassion who made a difference in the lives of generations of students who studied in the institution.
