I am a PhD candidate in Astrophysics at the University of Bologna, Italy. I am passionate about the formation and evolution of galaxies, with a particular focus on quiescent and massive galaxies at high redshift.
My work is based on observations made primarely with the James Webb Space Telescope, and uses a variety of techniques such as gravitational lensing and stellar population sinthesys.
My main topic of research is star-formation quenching mechanisms in massive galaxies at high-z.
I employ an observational approach to investigate the link between star-formation and feebdack from Active Galactic Nuclei in massive systems at Cosmic Noon.
I am part of the Blue Jay survey group and the Bologna-based Red Cardinal group, lead by my PhD supervisor prof. Sirio Belli.
I am also collaborating with the INQUEST program group (P.I. Andrew B. Newman), based in Pasadena (CA), USA.
