Privacy Policy for Let Off Steam

This Privacy Policy explains how BekDevs (“we”, “us”, or “the developer”) handles information when you use the Let Off Steam mobile application.
1. Information you provide
The app allows you to select a photo from your device. The selected photo is used only to provide the app’s visual effects. Photo processing takes place locally on your device. We do not upload selected photos to our servers, and we do not receive or store them.
2. Device permissions
The app may request access to photos or media so you can choose an image. This access is used only after you choose to select a photo and only for the app’s stated functionality. The app does not access your contacts, precise location, microphone, or camera for its current functionality.
3. Information stored locally
The app may store limited settings on your device, such as your selected language, acceptance of the Terms of Use, advertising consent status, and gameplay preferences. These settings are stored locally and are not sent to the developer.
4. Advertising and third-party services
Let Off Steam uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent choices where required. Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as:
IP address;
device and advertising identifiers;
general device information and operating system details;
app interactions, ad impressions, clicks, and diagnostic information;
approximate location inferred from an IP address, where applicable.
This information may be used to deliver, measure, secure, and personalize advertising, depending on your region and consent choices. Google acts according to its own privacy policies and data-retention practices.

5. Consent and privacy choices
Where required by law, the app asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads. When privacy options are required, the app provides a privacy-settings control that lets you review or change your consent choices.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your selected photos with third parties. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google AdMob and its advertising partners as described above.
7. Data security
Photos are processed locally on the device. We use platform-provided and third-party SDK security measures for information processed in connection with advertising. However, no electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Data retention and deletion
We do not maintain developer-controlled user accounts or servers containing your selected photos or personal data. Local app settings remain on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. Data processed by Google and its partners is retained and deleted according to their respective policies and your available privacy controls.
9. Children’s privacy
The app is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Advertising behavior may be limited based on the audience settings selected in Google Play Console and AdMob.
10. International users
Third-party advertising providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their legal safeguards and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Let Off Steam is provided for entertainment and general stress-relief purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice and is not a substitute for professional support or treatment.
You are responsible for the photos you select and for how you use the app. You must have the right to use any selected image and must not use the app for threats, harassment, humiliation, defamation, unlawful conduct, or infringement of another person’s rights.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every device. The developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of, inability to use, or misuse of the app, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
The developer is not responsible for the content of user-selected photos, actions taken by users, third-party advertising content, or the independent data practices and services of Google or other third parties.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its features, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
