Hi and welcome!

My research is driven by my desire to address significant socio-technical challenges, such as the sustainable and efficient use of energy. It is my strong belief that the technology we develop should empower us to make better informed decisions to improve our lives.

My research addresses these challenges focusing on the interface between machine learning and data-driven optimization (making better-informed decisions), privacy (protecting the individual agents' proprietary data), and game theory (taking into account individual agents goals and preferences). In particular, I am interested in market design for integrated energy systems, flexibility services, local energy communities, and data analytics.
