Haley: "All of my policy is not based on a label. It's based on what I lived and what I know."
Haley: "Some people think that you have to be the loudest voice in the room to make a difference. That is just not true. Often, the best thing we can do is turn down the volume. When the sound is quieter, you can actually hear what someone else is saying. And that can make a world of difference."
Haley: "Courage doesn't come by doing what everybody else says. Courage does by what you know is right."
Haley: "I've always felt like there are certain politicians that wear their religion on their sleeve in a way that you almost feel is disingenuous. I think that your faith has to be first personal. I struggle with those people that preach something and go back behind closed doors and live differently."
Haley: "My job is to create jobs. In the end I'm going to have jobs to show for it."
Haley: "I fight for the things that I care about, which are jobs and the economy. I fight for the things I think are important, which are reducing the debt and getting more companies to come to South Carolina."
Haley: "I'm a strong voice by nature. I'm sometimes a bull in a china shop."
Haley: "Today, we live in a time of threats like few others in recent memory. During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country."
Haley: "I'm not going to stop beating up on the Democrats for wasteful spending."
Haley: "Everything that has happened to me in my life has defined who I am, and all of the things leading up to being governor, that all came from overcoming challenges in childhood and overcoming challenges as I got older. When you have God, you quickly understand there's nothing you can't overcome."
Haley: "The foundation that has made America that last, best hope on earth hasn't gone anywhere. It still exists. It is up to us to return to it."
Haley: "We cannot continue to allow immigrants to come here illegally. And in this age of terrorism, we must not let in refugees whose intentions cannot be determined."
Haley: "Contraception doesn't define a woman."
Haley: "We must fix our broken immigration system. That means stopping illegal immigration. And it means welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion. Just like we have for centuries."
Haley: "I'm very proud of the way that I was raised, I'm very proud of the way that my parents raised me."
Haley: "My husband was adopted, and we had difficulty having both of my children, so we know the gift that life is. We do believe marriage is between a man and a woman. It's how you stand on that kind of thing or how you vote that really makes a difference."
Haley: "This is America. Anyone is free to protest about anything they want."
