Lucki: "I’m making a new type of sound — every project, I’m trying to evolve."

Lucki: "I pick the songs and the beats as I’m going along. What you said is the truth though, ‘cause I do be havin’ a sound I want. Even if I hear a good beat, if it doesn’t fit with the sound I want, I won’t pick it."

Lucki: "I ain’t force shit. I didn’t plan anything, but I knew it was going to work though. All this happened organic."

Lucki: "Sometimes I don’t be in the studio. I haven’t been in the studio for, like, a month. Sometimes I be in the studio for a month straight, when I’m locked in. It do be rewarding, though, to hear a new song after you make it — you wake up and listen to it."

Lucki: "It’s just me. I was always the person growing up too hood for the weirdos and too weird for the street n*ggas."

Lucki: "Chicago is a crazy city. It took a lot to get the people in Chicago playing my music. I had people outside of Chicago before I had completely got to people in Chicago."

Lucki: "Man, I just really loved that girl. I’ma wait around for her, I’ma get her back. No other girl, no matter how pretty, just doesn’t come near."

Lucki: "People always say that but like I could be way more open on social media. Like I could be really on there talking about how my stomach hurts every day."

Lucki: "I’m not a simp, but I really do want people to know it’s OK to love bitches too."

Lucki: "I don’t really play like that though. I don’t get high enough to die. I go through weeks or months where I’m binging and weeks or months when I’m good."

Lucki: "Usually, when I hear the Lucki flow… I hate it. So I be like, ‘I hope I don’t sound like this.’"

Lucki: "I like how the young kids use autotune and spice it up. I like that shit. I just don’t like when people do the Luck flow. I don’t really notice until somebody tells me."

Lucki: "People really think I put music out for the fans and stuff, but I put out for me."

Lucki: "I’m bigger now, but back when I was a younger artist, people used to steal a lot, and you would look crazy saying somebody stole something. So I just had to learn how to deal with it."

Lucki: "I feel like if you into me you already know how drugs influence my music."
