Ritter: "If you really want something, you've gotta just do it and not wait for other people to hand it to you."
Ritter: "I've never been a fearful person. When I was growing up, I wanted to be an actress, a writer, and a musician and I never really processed that those are the three hardest jobs - I just never even processed it."
Ritter: "I try to put a positive spin on things."
Ritter: "I'm a creative person. I love to write, I love to act, I love to perform, I love to create things with my hands, so I do all of these things that are kind of like hobbies in a way. They're things that I love, so it's not like a work-life balance; it's just a work-life marriage."
Ritter: "I'm not conventional. I try to be raw and vulnerable and gross."
Ritter: "I'm an actress, and I write, and I produce stuff. I have a guitar, and I have my knitting stuff. I have a lot of things going on; I love to not ever put all my energy into one thing fully."
Ritter: "I was always loud and obnoxious and giggly and funny."
Ritter: "I've always lived out of a suitcase. I was in a new city every three months. When I was a model, I traveled the world, and as an actor you're traveling from movie set to movie set. So I've never been in one place long enough for anything super-bad to happen."
Ritter: "I like to be stylish and edgy, but also low maintenance."
Ritter: "To be honest, I didn't love the high-fashion world because models aren't always treated that well. I was a scrappy kid from a farm, and that world felt a little snobby. But I was grateful for it, and my photo shoots now are really fast because I know my poses."
Ritter: "I'm very into dresses, shoes, and makeup."
Ritter: "I feel really fortunate that I've been given a lot of roles that were very different from each other. For me, variety is the key. I don't want to play the same thing over and over again."
Ritter: "I'm definitely scared by commitment."
Ritter: "We all know what it feels like to be an outcast or a loner or to fall between the cracks. To be the target of gossip or people talking about you, or girls are ganging up on you. One minute, they're your best friend; the next, they call you on three-way."
Ritter: "I am sarcastic and dry, but I also have a pretty huge zest for life."
Ritter: "I'm currently single, so I want to have fun! As for what guys need to do to date out of their league, it's all about the swagger. If you have confidence, you can get pretty much any girl."
Ritter: "I'm a weirdo. I don't leave the house unless I have to."
Ritter: "It's hard to find that perfect dress that makes you feel like a million bucks. I've found a few, and I wish I could wear them over and over and over again on red carpets."
Ritter: "I encourage girls to lean in, use your brain, get in there, get in the conversation."
Ritter: "I don't normally do shoots in bikinis - I'm just not that kind of girl. But for 'Maxim' I was like, 'Bring it on!' I wanted to wear the higher heels and the skimpier bathing suit. I figured I'd go for it!"
Ritter: "I understand the feelings of being the outcast and the loner."
Ritter: "I was totally picked on, but look at me now! I was definitely picked on by boys and girls. I was really lanky and skinny and the boys would say, 'Turn sideways and stick out your tongue, you look like a zipper.'"
Ritter: "I hope to someday have a fully functioning production company."
Ritter: "I never imagined myself playing a superhero because I don't see myself the way superheroes have been portrayed or shown to me my entire life."
Ritter: "I don't have a lot of clothes or a lot of possessions to bog me down."
