Bailey: “I know I still have a lot to prove. As long as I just keep giving my all each chance I get, that's really all I can do.”
Bailey: "You know, with each single and each song, my fans, and even people who may or may not know about me, get to have more insight to who I am as a solo artist. And, right now, that's what's in store and promoting that. And I'm creating every single day, I have 100 songs almost. And it's really just about when the timing is right for the project."
Bailey: “I’m always trying to beat myself and outdo myself. If I can’t or if there’s like the slightest struggle, I tend to beat myself up.”
Bailey: “I am so grateful that I have (this career) and a creative outlet, so that I can get my inner feelings out instead of keeping them pent up inside. So a lot of times when there are things on my chest that I need to get off, I will create some of the best music.”
Bailey: “I don't purposely try to do ‘too much.' I'm just being who I am, unapologetically and completely, and if people think that's doing too much, well then, I guess I am. I would be doing a disservice to myself if I tried to be less than who I am and dim my light.”
Bailey: "It's really crazy how the universe works and how it will give you signs. And it's like, 'Guess what, this is what you'll have in your future."
Bailey: “Some of the challenges that I’m navigating that no one really sees is that I’m still battling anxiety and I think I have imposter syndrome, because no matter what I do, I feel like it’s never good enough.”
Bailey: “When I make music, I get out of my head and I stop overthinking and that’s when I feel great. It's like I'm finding myself through the music, as I'm creating it.”
Bailey: “As much as I try to be nonchalant or have ‘bad b*tch energy’ or always keep my head held high, some things really do get to me. I’m learning to deal with that and to not let it get to me so much.”
Bailey: "I am just so proud of all of the ladies, and how we are standing in our power, we are standing on what makes us different. And we're using those things as our strengths. And you know, the world can't but help notice."
Bailey: "Yes, well, Beyoncé, I have grown up being the biggest fan of hers. And to be able to say that I am a part of her legacy with Parkwood along with my sister, it means everything and it is truly a pinch me moment. I'm honored that I get to see her work ethic and her drive and how incredible of a person she is up close and personal."
