Becky G: "I'm all about telling stories. I like people to picture the music video in their head when they're just listening to the song."
Becky G: "People should accept themselves for who they really are and be proud of that and take ownership of that first and learn that self love to really be happy."
Becky G: "Giving back is the right thing to do, whether it's donating clothing or even just a smile to someone who needs it."
Becky G: "My only way of getting my uncles' attention or aunts' attention or whoever's attention was by dancing and singing around the house."
Becky G: "Growing up, you're told there are things you're not capable of doing because you're a girl. That perception's starting to change and it's amazing. It's important that we continue to share the message with other young women. If they grow up in a household or go to a school where they're told that they can't do certain things, it's important that they hear from someone that it is possible to do whatever they want with their lives."
Becky G: "I love big summer dresses, and it sucks because I'm such a little person, so I always have to be very specific about which ones I put on."
Becky G: "I want to be open to the kids who only speak Spanish, the kids who speak only Spanglish, and the kids who don't even speak Spanish at all."
Becky G: "When I get out of work early, or if I have some time before I go into the studio, I go to Disneyland for a few hours with my siblings. We just have fun, go on all the rides together, and eat all of the good food."
Becky G: "Being a teenager, it's so hard to find foundation that's good for your skin for everyday wear."
Becky G: "Growing up, my family struggled to make ends meet, so I know how important organizations like The Salvation Army are for families to lean on in times of need."
Becky G: "I personally hated working out when I first started, but then I noticed it was the one thing I did for myself. It gave me more energy and made me feel more confident. I started rolling with it. I love going for jogs and walks in the morning with my cousin. Sometimes we do sunrise walks where we'll be up before the sun comes up and by the time it does we're up and going. It's really nice. I also started training MMA, mixed martial arts to keep it fun. It's stress relieving."
Becky G: "Now, kids are bullsh*t meters. We can smell bullsh*t right away. When something's not real, you can't connect to it."
Becky G: "I've always had an itch for acting and a passion for acting, but never really got to dabble into it too much, and now I can say I'm officially an acrtress."
Becky G: "When I was nine years old, my family lost our home, and the six of us moved into my grandparents' converted garage."
Becky G: "I want a guy who's going to be accepting of - one, my big 'ol, loud Mexican family - and also my career, because it's a lot. I don't want someone who's like... 'Oh, you don't have time for me'. Like, I want somebody who's sure of himself and gonna be like, 'Okay, you go do your thing, and when you come back, we're good.'"
Becky G: "I feel like a little beast when I'm onstage, and I feel like my fans have that little beast inside of them, too: this hunger for life."
Becky G: "My favorite holiday memory was sitting at home all day in my pajamas during winter break for school watching a bunch of old Christmas movies like 'Jack Frost' and 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' with my siblings and parents."
