Teal Swan
NiTe II--
NiTe II-- Unseelie
NOTE: She is difficult to accurately type due to her outrageous claims about who she is, as she claims she’s an alien sent to save Earth through new age healing. She has been labeled by many as a 'cult leader' and her methods of treating those who suffer from trauma have been highly criticized, so I would recommend for you to proceed in looking into her with caution. I'm not gonna tell anyone what they should do, but I do recommend watching this video critiquing her methods: https://youtu.be/ACS3Az7TZxI
I may delete this page in the future if she loses the media relevancy she currently has.
Swan: "Black or white thinking is a form of cognitive distortion. It is to miss the whole, objective view of something."
Swan: "Expansion is so often about experiencing the specific unwanted thing that comes with a specific choice and working to alleviate that unwanted element. Meeting with the contrast that comes with a specific choice in this way creates improvement."
Swan: "If you look at the demographic of people who are interested in my type of material - you're working with an unstable group of people."
Swan: "Beware the trap of selectively identifying with a spiritually transcendent part of yourself and suppressing all other ‘less woke’ parts of yourself."
Swan: "The ego wants to distinguish itself. It wants to be things like good, right, better, superior, more. There is nothing inherently wrong with this drive. But most people are not aware enough of this element of ego to integrate it or to consciously work with it. As a result, their nonphysical self and physical self are not engaging in an aligned relationship. Instead, their ego is subconsciously running the show."
Swan: "[To suggest I am] responsible for suicide in people who came to me suicidal, that's pretty insane."
Swan: "People love to support women’s empowerment as long as a woman is weak and stands no chance of being strong. But when a woman actually has power, she is feared, hated and intentionally stripped of her power."
Swan: "Be brave enough to see how you are using your spiritual practice to strengthen your ego. Be brave enough to see what you may be trying to avoid, suppress, deny, disown, reject or keep safe by seeing yourself and trying to get others to see you as 'spiritually advanced.'"
Swan: "If you have been unsafe with people or feel unsafe with them still, especially people in positions of authority, you might find yourself wanting to be 'on top' of them or at least 'equal' to them in order to feel safe. You might try to establish superiority or at the very least, equality relative to other people in your environment. And you may just be going about doing that by thinking, speaking and acting spiritually superior to them."
