Underwood: "I have no attention span. I get bored so fast."

Underwood: "You never know what curve balls life is going to throw you and there's no way I can predict anything or make any assumptions about what the rest of my life is going to be like."

Underwood: "I'm a suck-it-up-and-move-on kind of person. Every day is a new day, and you'll never be able to find happiness if you don't move on."

Underwood: "I love being around my friends and my family and spending time with my husband. I like being normal and recharging my batteries, and I feel like I have the coolest job in the world where I get to get on stage and perform and get to do a lot of really amazing things."

Underwood: "I'm not the person in person that I am on stage."

Underwood: "I'm extremely happy, but I don't do love songs for the most part. It feels weird; that's such a personal thing to me. I'd rather live that in my real life and play a different character outside of that."

Underwood: "Throw caution to the wind and just do it."

Underwood: "I feel like when I'm on stage, when I'm writing songs, singing songs, I'm in the studio, I'm shooting videos, I kind of get to become this character, and I can make that whatever I want to make that."

Underwood: "I'm glad I can present a polished version of myself when it counts."

Underwood: "Technically I have siblings, but they are quite a bit older than me - I was the accident - so I have the only-child syndrome going on. I'm a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed. I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better."

Underwood: "Once you get into a routine of eating healthy, it hurts twice as much when you fall off the wagon."

Underwood: "I eat things I shouldn't eat all the time. I have to work out so I can enjoy myself! I like to run, and I'll do body weight stuff: push-ups, squats, lunges, pull-ups."

Underwood: "I'm not a mushy person at all."

Underwood: "As far as subject matter, I'd say most of the songs aren't that personal to me. I love making up characters and kind of having fun in a different kind of way."

Underwood: "I feel like I'm a product of this generation where everybody listens to charts with diverse music."

Underwood: "I love being able to perform in front of people. I like potentially making a difference in somebody's day or somebody's life."

Underwood: "I've learned it's really important to work hard and keep your family and friends close. You've got to let them know how much you appreciate them for sticking by you."

Underwood: "I don't want to listen to everybody's problems all the time. And I doubt anybody wants to listen to mine."

Underwood: "I talk to my fan club members, and I blog, and they know what's going on. But as far as Twitter, I'll be in a restaurant, and I'll get home, and somebody tweeted, and they talked about what I ordered and what I was wearing. In some cases, that could be dangerous, because you don't want everybody to know where you are every second of every day."

Underwood: "I feel like I am a celebrity for no reason, like people are resentful I didn't have to play bars for 10 years to get a record deal."

Underwood: "I'd sleep in a little, work out, do laundry, run errands, buy presents for people with birthdays coming up. I like it when I don't have to be anywhere, and anything I do is my choice."

Underwood: "There's not ever much of anything going on in my head."

Underwood: "I love going out to clubs. Granted, I don't get hammered or do anything to embarrass myself. I'd call myself wholesome... but it's not like I only drink milk."

Underwood: "I'm a private person too, and we don't ever film anything in our home because it's off limits. It's like letting people see your messy house."
