This Privacy Policy describes how "Cute Calc" (hereinafter, "the Application", "we", "us", or "our") manages user information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Cute Calc does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) from its users. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or any other data that could directly identify you.
The Application is a utility tool designed to function without needing access to your personal data. All calculation operations are performed locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Cute Calc requires an active Internet connection to function correctly. This connection is essential for two main reasons:
Loading Graphic and Audio Resources: The Application loads certain graphic resources (mascot images, design elements) and audio files directly from external servers. This allows us to offer a rich and dynamic visual and auditory experience without overloading the initial application size.
Displaying Advertisements: The Application is a free (freemium) version that is financed through advertising. An Internet connection is indispensable for displaying these ads, which are the sustenance and basis for the continuous development and maintenance of the project.
The Application detects the Internet connection status of your device to determine if it can operate normally or if it should display a message informing about the lack of connection. This detection is performed using standard operating system and browser APIs, and does not involve accessing specific browsing data or intercepting your network traffic beyond what is necessary for the Application's own operations (loading resources and ads).
Note for Google Play Console: Detecting the Internet connection and making network requests to load resources and advertising are standard functionalities that involve the use of basic network permissions (such as android.permission.INTERNET and android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE on Android). These permissions are common in most applications and are usually declared automatically by development tools and advertising SDKs. No special notification is required in the Google Play developer console beyond the standard declaration of these permissions in the application's manifest, which is a usual process when compiling and uploading your APK/AAB.
As mentioned, Cute Calc includes advertising to support its development. For the management and display of these ads, the Application integrates services from various third-party ad networks. These networks may collect certain non-personal information to display relevant ads and measure their performance.
The ad networks used include, but are not limited to:
AdMob (Google)
Facebook Audience Network
Appnext
Start.io (formerly StartApp)
UnityAds
IronSource
Wortise
AdUnit
Monetag
Ad networks may collect information about your device and your interaction with ads, which may include:
Device Identifiers: Such as your device's advertising ID (e.g., Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA), which is a unique, resettable identifier used for ad targeting.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, network connection type, IP address, screen size, etc.
App Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Application and the ads displayed (e.g., ad clicks, view time).
General Location: In some cases, they may infer a general geographical location (city or country level) from your IP address, but not your precise location.
Ad networks use this information to show you ads that might be more relevant to your interests (targeted or personalized ads).
You have control over the use of your advertising ID:
Android: You can reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization through your Google settings on your device (Settings > Google > Ads).
iOS: You can reset your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device's privacy settings.
Please note that even if you choose to limit personalization, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
Cute Calc operates under a freemium model:
Free Version (This Application): It is free to use and is sustained by displaying advertisements. Some "Pro" features can be unlocked within this version by watching ads.
Paid Version (Separate Application): There is a paid version of Cute Calc (a completely separate application) that offers all themes with animations and is 100% ad-free. Furthermore, the paid version can be used without any problems offline.
Cute Calc is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
Although Cute Calc does not collect personal data, we understand the importance of security. The ad networks and third-party services we use implement industry-standard security measures to protect the information they collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
