• Lenovo LP40: Its biggest strength is the extended 5-hour playtime per charge combined with a semi-in-ear design that minimizes pressure on glasses frames; its trade-off is the lack of an IP rating for sweat or water protection.
• QFX Splashproof: Its standout feature is the IPX4 splashproof durability and a smart LED display case that tracks battery levels visually; its trade-off is a shorter 3-hour playback window and a more standard in-ear seal.
• Who each pick is for: The LP40 suits commuters and office workers who value comfort over ruggedness, while the Splashproof targets active users, gym-goers, and anyone needing a watertight connection.
The Lenovo LP40 Pro is engineered specifically for those who spend hours wearing their headphones without wanting to feel a pinching sensation. Its semi-in-ear design relies on a curved surface that fits gently against the outer ear rather than sealing deep inside the canal. This architectural choice is a game-changer for people who wear prescription glasses, as it avoids the common conflict where in-ear buds press against the temple arms of your frames, causing headaches after an hour of use. The lightweight plastic construction keeps the total weight down, ensuring they stay stable during movement without adding bulk to your ears.
For the daily commuter or the remote worker, the battery performance here is genuinely impressive. With a single charge delivering up to 5 hours of music time, these earbuds can easily cover a full work shift or a long commute without needing a top-up. The included 250mAh charging case provides additional power, allowing you to recharge the buds fully in about 1.5 hours. This setup eliminates the anxiety of running out of juice mid-call or mid-music session, making it a reliable companion for productivity-focused days.

However, this model is not built for the elements. If your routine involves heavy sweating at the gym or sudden rain showers, the LP40 might not be the right tool for the job. Additionally, while the touch controls are convenient for managing calls and music, the lack of physical buttons means you must rely entirely on the smooth surface of the earbuds, which some users might find less tactile than traditional click mechanisms. Ultimately, this product is ideal for the person who prioritizes comfort, call clarity with intelligent noise reduction, and longevity over rugged durability.
The QFX Splashproof HP-E110 takes a different approach, focusing heavily on versatility and environmental resilience. Its most defining characteristic is the IPX4 splashproof rating, which protects the electronics from sweat and light rain. This makes it an excellent choice for runners, cyclists, or anyone who works out indoors. Unlike the semi-in-ear design of the competitor, these are true in-ear buds that create a seal. To accommodate different ear shapes and ensure a tight grip, the package includes three sizes of soft gel inserts (small, medium, and large). This customization is crucial for maintaining stability during vigorous activity and ensuring that the sound remains isolated from external noise.
Connectivity has also been updated significantly in this model. Utilizing Bluetooth 5.3 technology, the QFX Splashproof offers a faster pairing process and a more stable connection with lower power consumption compared to older standards. This newer protocol ensures that audio streams remain synchronized with video content, reducing latency issues that can be distracting during gaming or movie watching. The 10mm dynamic drivers deliver punchy bass and detailed mids, providing a balanced sound profile suitable for various genres. Whether you are taking a best crystal clear calls sleep headphones experience or just listening to podcasts, the microphone integration supports clear voice transmission.
A unique selling point of the QFX case is the integrated LED display. Instead of guessing how much charge remains based on a single blinking light, you can see the exact percentage on a digital screen. This transparency helps you manage your charging schedule more effectively. The case itself charges via USB-C, a modern standard that allows for fast recharging. However, buyers should note the shorter playback time of 3 hours per charge compared to the LP40. While sufficient for many workouts, it may require more frequent top-ups for long travel days. This product is best suited for the active user who values durability, a secure fit, and modern convenience features like digital battery tracking over maximum uninterrupted listening time.
