Privacy Policy for Lenny: Type 1 Adventures

Lenny: Type 1 Adventures is designed with the privacy of children and families in mind. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information in Version 1.0.
Information We Collect
Lenny: Type 1 Adventures does not collect or transmit personal information or user data to the developer in Version 1.0.
Information entered into the app, including child profile information, feelings check-ins, progress information, family-entered preparedness information, and emergency information, is stored locally on the user's device for use within the app.
This information is not transmitted to Tuttle Heritage Studio and Design or used for advertising or tracking.
Children's Privacy
Lenny: Type 1 Adventures is designed for children and families. Version 1.0 does not require a child to create an online account and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their child's use of the app and use Parents' Corner to manage available family-controlled features.
Health and Diabetes Information
Families may voluntarily enter diabetes-related preparedness or emergency information into the app. In Version 1.0, this information is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to the developer.
Lenny does not connect to CGMs, insulin pumps, or other medical devices and does not obtain glucose readings or insulin-delivery information from those devices.
Advertising and Tracking
Lenny: Type 1 Adventures does not contain third-party advertising and does not use user information for advertising or cross-app tracking in Version 1.0.
Analytics
Version 1.0 does not transmit user activity or analytics information to the developer.
Local Data and Deleting the App
Information and progress stored by Lenny are maintained locally on the device. Removing the app may also remove information stored locally by the app. Families should not use Lenny as the sole location for important medical or emergency information.
Medical Disclaimer
Lenny: Type 1 Adventures is intended for education, preparedness, emotional support, and encouragement. It does not provide medical diagnosis or individualized medical treatment recommendations and does not calculate insulin doses, correction factors, glucose targets, ketone treatment, or sick-day treatment instructions.
Always follow the child's established diabetes care plan and guidance from their healthcare team. In a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Lenny: Type 1 Adventures evolves. If a future version introduces features that change how information is collected, transmitted, stored, or shared, this policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures will be updated accordingly.
