1. Information you enter
LendWatch lets you enter borrower names, loan amounts, loan terms, notes, scheduled dates, and payment records. These records are stored locally on your device. LendWatch does not require an account, and the developer does not receive or store your loan records on a server.
2. How the app uses information
Your information is used only to calculate balances, show loan and payment history, organize active and paid loans, and schedule optional reminders on your device.
3. Exchange-rate information
When an internet connection is available, LendWatch requests reference exchange rates from the Frankfurter public API. The app does not include borrower names, loan amounts, notes, or payment records in these requests. As with any internet request, the service may receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address and request time under its own privacy practices.
4. Google Play purchases
If you buy the one-time LendWatch Pro unlock, Google Play processes the purchase. LendWatch does not receive your payment card details. The app receives purchase-status information needed to unlock Pro features and stores the entitlement on your device. Google handles purchase information under the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Notifications and device permissions
LendWatch may request permission to send repayment reminders. Reminder details are created and scheduled on your device. The internet permission is used for reference exchange rates and Google Play Billing. Android may also allow the app to restore scheduled reminders after the device restarts.
6. What LendWatch does not use
LendWatch has no advertising SDKs, analytics or behavioral tracking, developer-operated user accounts, cloud loan database, or sale of personal information.
7. Retention and deletion
Your loan and payment records remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Because the developer does not keep a server copy, the developer cannot recover deleted records or remotely delete records stored on your phone.
8. Security
LendWatch uses local device storage and HTTPS for supported internet requests. You are responsible for protecting access to your device. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children
LendWatch is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when LendWatch features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
