Welcome to my website. I am a theoretical physicist working in non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. My research focuses on how symmetries in quantum and classical many-body dynamics influence relaxation, thermalization, and transport phenomena.
I am currently an assistant professor of physics and the principal investigator (PI) of the research startup programme Nonergodicity from Exotic Symmetries (NESY), funded by the University of Ljubljana and the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS).
You can contact me at name.surname(at)fmf.uni-lj.si. I invite you to explore this website to learn more about my research.
Happy to report that the conference "Waiting for thermalization in Bled: Quantum many-body scars, Hilbert-space fragmentation and kinetically constrained models" successfully took place in Bled, between April 20 and 24. More info is available here.
