About the CEO - Marty LeMoine
I started my journey in the education field back in the Fall of 2017. Fresh out of college, I was substitute teaching and pursuing higher education in order to get my teaching credential in California.
I worked retail at JCPenney and Sears before securing my first teaching job at a local middle school 2 years later. That truly was a "trial-by-fire" experience, as it was the same year Covid hit. Going from the classroom to fully online was an eye-opening experience. It was during that time I realized the traditional classroom environment is only suited for a small percentage of our students. Then I pondered, "There has to be a better way to support students academically."
While I have been tutoring independently since 2017, my desire to expand the business only came about recently as I continued to see academic struggles amplified by mainstream public schools in the states. Now that I am in Canada, I hope to continue to help students reach new heights academically.
Connecting families with the right tutors is my primary goal, and I will continue to encourage opportunities for continuous growth and improvement for my tutors and their students.
