I am an academic researcher at Universidad Católica del Maule (Chile). My primary research interests lie in mathematical modeling, with a focus on epidemiology and biological phenomena.

I completed my Ph.D. at Universidad de Concepción, Chile, under the mentorship of  Raimund Bürger and Gerardo Chowell. You can find details of my Mathematical genealogy here.

I hold a bachelor´s degree in Mathematics from Universidad del Valle, Colombia, and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Universidade Federal do Paraná, Brazil.
