Exploring Cancer Genomics at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center

Research interests:

As a computational biologist with a longstanding interest in skin cancers, my research is focused on the accurate quantification of epidermal clonal mutations (CM) and the development of clinically relevant applications based on these mutations. My current research areas include:

Establish epidermal CMs as an early measurement for skin cancer prevention by skin field treatment.

Establish the refined landscape and accumulation kinetics of UV-induced CMs in both human and mouse skin.

Develop a biomarker panel using UV-induced CMs to predict the risk of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC).

Establish UV-induced CM-index to quantify photoprotection effectiveness of sunscreens.
