Leila A. R. Pereira
Hello! My name is Leila Pereira and I am a postdoctoral researcher at Insper – Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Cátedra Fundação Lemann), where I have also earned my Ph.D. in economics. My research is in the fields of Development Economics, Economics of Crime, Environmental Economics, and Political Economy.
Previously, I worked as a researcher at Climate Policy Initiative/Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (CPI/PUC-Rio). Before entering the Ph.D., I worked as an economic analyst at LCA Consultores – one of Brazil’s leading economics consultancy firms – advising major players from different markets.
