Solar System

A solar system is a collection of planets that revolve around a star. Solar Systems can also include moons and other celestial bodies that orbit around the star, such as asteroids, meteoroids, comets, and dwarf stars. Solar Systems are contained within a galaxy.

Our local solar system contains the Sun, which is a star, and eight planets (including Earth), as well as hundreds of moons and millions of asteroids.
