An Antireality Gate is a special structure that all entities in the Flow Narrative are required to pass through in order to arrive at a realm on a level above their current realm. When passing through, the entity experiences rapid shifting between different states of existence and non-existence, similar to an Antireality Blip. However, the effects of passing through an Antireality Gate are far stronger than usual Antireality Blip, making it harder to safely pass. All traversing entities experience the same effects regardless of how powerful they are.
If an entity fails to safely pass through an Antireality Gate, there are three major possibilities of what will happen to them:
The entity is thrown back into the realm they came from
The entity is thrown into a random realm in the Flow Narrative, but only one that is below the level of the Antireality Gate they are passing through
The entity is banished into the Antireality Void
In extremely rare cases, the entity can also be erased from existence.
To make Antireality Gates even more difficult to pass, multiple Antireality Guardians are also stationed at each gate on both sides. These guardians have the power to send entities to the Antireality Void.
There are three Antireality Gates within each Flow Narrative. The first gate occupies the space between the Omniboxeplex and the Allsphere. The second gate occupies the space between the Hypercosmic Ocean of Realities and the Flow Prism. The third and final gate occupies the space between the Flow Pyramid and the Flow Narrative. For an entity to transcend from a Flow Pyramid into the Flow Narrative, they need to pass through the Third Antireality Gate first.
