How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want one pair of earbuds that can do almost everything — workouts, calls, videos, EQ tweaking, even finding a lost bud — choose LEEMC Earbuds; if you need something that disappears into your ear at night and lets a side sleeper stay asleep, choose goazzzl Sleep Earbuds. These two get compared a lot, but they are built for completely different jobs. One is a feature-packed sport earbud with a touchscreen case. The other is a 3-gram sleep bud for tiny ears. Here is how I'd decide between them.
• LEEMC Earbuds — biggest strength: A touchscreen charging case that controls music, volume, ANC/Transparency, EQ presets, a camera shutter and a Find My Earbud feature, paired with over-ear hooks, IPX7 waterproofing and 9 hours per charge (40 hours with the case).
• LEEMC Earbuds — biggest trade-off: At 7.1 g per bud with a hook design and a 72.8 g case, they are bulky for side sleeping, and the data sheet notes they are not compatible with Samsung and Google phones.
• goazzzl Sleep Earbuds — biggest strength: Ultra-light 3.0 g mini buds with a semi in-ear shape made for small ear canals and side sleepers, no flashing LEDs after pairing, and an LED battery display on the case.
• goazzzl Sleep Earbuds — biggest trade-off: No active noise cancellation (noise control is listed as "None"), a shorter 4–5 hours per charge (35–40 hours with the case), and no ear hooks or IPX7 rating for heavy sweat.
• Who LEEMC is for: Runners, gym-goers, commuters and video/game players who want maximum features and battery per charge.
• Who goazzzl is for: Side sleepers, people with small ear canals, and anyone who wants earbuds that stay invisible and pressure-free for hours.
The LEEMC TP03 is the more ambitious product of the two. Its headline feature is the smart charging case: a touchscreen that lets you play music, adjust volume, flip between ANC and Transparency, cycle through five EQ presets (Normal, Rock, Classic, Pop, Jazz), set wallpapers, and even trigger your phone's camera as a wireless shutter. It also has a Find My Earbud function and a 16-language interface. In my opinion, that case is the real reason to buy these — it turns the case into a tiny remote control instead of a passive charger.
Who should skip it? If your main use is sleeping, especially on your side, this is not the design for you — the hooks, the larger buds and the chunkier case are all built for activity, not pillow pressure. And if you use a Samsung or Google phone, note that the data sheet flags those as incompatible, so check that before buying. Also remember there's no wired jack; this is wireless-only. goazzzl Sleep Earbuds: Who It's For
The goazzzl MY001 goes the opposite direction: it strips features down to solve one problem — wearing earbuds in bed without pain. Each bud weighs just 3.0 g, and the semi in-ear shape is explicitly designed for small ear canals. There are no ear hooks and no hard angles to dig in, so when you roll onto your side, there's simply much less material pressing against your ear. That's the whole pitch, and the spec sheet backs it up.
The rest of the feature list is about staying unobtrusive. There are no flashing lights after pairing, which matters if you share a room or want to listen in a dark dorm, office or library without drawing attention. Bluetooth 5.4 handles the connection, pairing when you open the case, with touch controls for music, calls and volume. Battery is modest per charge — 4 to 5 hours — but the case stretches it to roughly 35–40 hours, and the LED display on the case shows the battery level so you're not guessing. The package includes the buds, a wireless charging case, a USB-C cable and a manual, and the warranty is listed as 3 years.
What you give up: there's no active noise cancellation here — the noise control field is "None," so blocking is passive, coming from the fit itself rather than electronics. There's no IPX7 claim, so treat them as everyday buds rather than gym-and-rain gear. And there's no EQ system or fancy case screen. If you want thumping bass for workouts, this isn't the pick. If you want to fall asleep to a podcast without your ear aching at 3 a.m., it very much is.
• Best for side sleeping → goazzzl Sleep Earbuds. 3.0 g buds with a semi in-ear shape and no hooks mean far less pillow pressure than the 7.1 g hooked LEEMC design.
• Best for small ears → goazzzl Sleep Earbuds. They're specifically built around small ear canals, while LEEMC relies on S/M/L tips with an over-ear hook.
• Best for workouts and running → LEEMC Earbuds. IPX7 waterproofing, over-ear hooks and three tip sizes are made for sweat and movement.
• Best for battery life → LEEMC Earbuds. 9 hours per charge and 40 hours with the case beats the goazzzl's 4–5 hours per charge and 35–40 hours with the case.
• Best for features and control → LEEMC Earbuds. Touchscreen case, five EQ presets, ANC/Transparency switching, camera shutter and Find My Earbud have no equivalent on the goazzzl.
• Best for quiet, low-key listening → goazzzl Sleep Earbuds. No lights after pairing and a barely-there fit suit offices, libraries and shared rooms.
• Best for video and gaming sync → LEEMC Earbuds. The 55 ms low-latency mode is designed exactly for that; goazzzl doesn't list a latency figure.
• Best for phone compatibility caution → LEEMC Earbuds. Only because the data sheet warns they're not compatible with Samsung and Google phones — if you own one of those, goazzzl is the safer call.
If I had to buy one, I'd pick the LEEMC Earbuds — but only because my listening is active, not horizontal. The touchscreen case, the 13 mm driver, the IPX7 hooks and the 40-hour total battery give me the most capability for the widest range of situations, and I'd happily trade a bit of bulk for that. That said, if you sleep on your side or have small ears, I'd flip my answer without hesitation: the goazzzl's 3.0 g, no-hook design is the one that actually solves the problem you have. Match the product to the job, not the other way around.
They can be worn in bed, but they're not designed for it. The 7.1 g buds, over-ear hooks and larger case are built for sports and daily use, so side sleepers will likely feel more pressure than with a dedicated sleep bud.
No. The noise control field is listed as "None," so any blocking comes from the semi in-ear fit itself rather than active electronics. The LEEMC Earbuds, by contrast, do list Active Noise Cancellation.
LEEMC. It offers 9 hours per charge and 40 hours total with the case, versus 4–5 hours per charge and roughly 35–40 hours with the goazzzl case. The goazzzl does add an LED battery display so you can see the level at a glance.
Most Bluetooth phones will work, but the data sheet specifically notes they are not compatible with Samsung and Google phones. If you use one of those, the goazzzl Sleep Earbuds are the more sensible choice. For either product, check the current price on Amazon before you commit.
