COVID-19 Information

This page will be updated with the most current information as we are made aware of it. Please check back with this page regularly, as directives can change day-to-day.

Dear Campers,

We’ve received direction from Alberta Health Services regarding safety measures to take to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and we’d like to share that information with you. As you know, direction is constantly evolving as circumstances change, so we have added this COVID-19 information page to our website where we will continue to post updated information.

The direction we’ve received from AHS which we will implement is as follows:

  • All RV campers must use their own washroom facilities if they are able to.

  • We ask that only those who do not have their own washroom capabilities, and those who only have power/water on site use the public washrooms. IE. tent campers/tent trailer campers.

  • Group camping is subject to current Alberta restrictions regarding outdoor group sizes.

  • The Reunion Center is reservable. All guests must strictly follow current group gathering guidelines.

  • Social gatherings such as group bonfires, potlucks, etc. should follow current government guidelines.

    • All group gatherings should observe proper social distancing measures by staying at least 2 meters (6 feet) from members of another household, and not sharing food or drinks.

  • Residents who are required to self-isolate due to international travel, close contacts, or COVID symptoms must stay in their RV or on their own campsite/pad. They must not enter any shared facility buildings that may be open.

  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting with a focus on high touch surfaces as recommended and instructed by AHS. This will include

    • Spraying dump station with disinfectant regularly.

    • Spraying garbage disposal with disinfectant regularly.

    • Sanitizing washroom facilities.

We will send you an email at least 24 hours before your scheduled check-in with general information for your stay with us.

We hope that these restrictions can be lifted soon so that we can welcome you in person to our campground, but we look forward to providing you with a safe way to enjoy an escape from your regular life until then. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, and please refer back to our website for further information as guidelines change.

Thank you,

Lee Creek Campground Management
