Admission Criteria:
GPA requirements:
ME B.S. degree: minimum 3.0/4.0 or 60/100 or 13/20
Non-ME B.S. degree: Must complete the following undergrad courses or equivalent with min. GPA 3.0
Engineering Math
Statics – ME 246
Dynamics – ME 247
Fluid Mechanics – ME 356
Thermodynamics – ENGR 230
Heat Transfer – ME 433
Mechanics of Materials – ME 330
4 year college degree in engineering or closely related field.
No 3 year-college degrees; No technology (BTech) degrees can be considered for admission.
English – for international students only
TOFEL: minimum 73 or IELTS minimum 6.0
Recommendation letters: 2 from faculty
Admitted Students: (total 30 credits)
Engineering core courses (required): 9 credits
ENGR I1100 Introduction to Engineering Analysis
ME I4200 Applied Stress Analysis
ME I0200 Applied Fluid Mechanics
Report/Project/Thesis 0-6 cr. (choose only one and need to be approved by individual mentor)
ME I9700: Report (0 cr.)
ME I9800: Project (3 cr.)
ME I9900: Research for the Master's Thesis (6 cr.)

Technical Electives (15 – 21 credits) (5-7 courses; May include one 3 cr. in Engineering Management related course)
Minimum GPA for graduation: 3.0/4.0
