This Privacy Policy explains how Ledgr ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Ledgr is a personal loan, EMI and financial-calculator app for tracking and managing your own debts — it does not lend money, move money, or connect to your bank.
The short version: The financial information you enter (your loans, EMIs, payments and settings) is stored only on your device. We have no user accounts and no servers in this version, so we never see or receive that data. The one exception is advertising: the app shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some device information to serve those ads.
When you add loans, EMIs, payments, rate changes, reminders or preferences, that data is saved locally on your device in the app's private storage. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Because there is no account and no cloud backup in this version:
We cannot access, view, or recover your entries.
The data stays available offline and is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
Ledgr displays ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as:
Device and advertising identifiers (for example, your Android Advertising ID);
IP address and coarse, region-level location derived from it;
Device information (model, operating-system version, language) and ad-interaction data (ads shown, taps).

The data you enter is used only to provide the app's features (tracking loans, calculating EMIs, showing your payoff progress and reminders) on your device.
Advertising data is used by Google to serve, cap, measure and (unless you opt out) personalise ads.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the financial data you enter, because it never leaves your device. The only third party that receives data is Google AdMob, and only the advertising-related information described in Section 2.
Data you entered: remains on your device until you delete individual items in the app or uninstall the app, which removes all local app data.
Advertising data: handled by Google per its retention policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
Ledgr is intended for a general audience managing their own finances and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Financial data you enter is kept in the app's private on-device storage. Advertising requests are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we design the app to keep your data on your device by default.
Because your financial data lives on your device, you are in direct control of it: you can view, edit and delete it at any time within the app. For advertising data held by Google, you can exercise choices through your device's ad settings and Google's privacy controls. Depending on where you live (for example, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or similar laws), you may have additional rights; contact us using the details below.
We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, if optional cloud backup or accounts are added later). Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
