Ledger is designed with a "Local First" approach.

Financial Records: All data you enter—including account balances, loan details, and bill schedules—is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage (via WebView).

No Account Required: You are not required to create an account or provide an email address to use the App.

Because your data is stored locally on your device:
Full Control: You have total control over your data. You can delete all App data at any time using the "Reset all data" feature within the App settings or by clearing the App's cache/data in your Android system settings.

Backups: The App provides an "Export" feature that allows you to save a manual backup of your data to your device's storage. We do not have access to these files.

The App requests the following permissions for specific functions:
Internet Access: Used solely to support the internal operation of the App's web-based interface. We do not use this permission to track your behavior or send your data to third parties.

Storage Access: Used only when you choose to Export or Import your data backup files.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. Your usage remains private to you.
While we do not store your data on servers, we recommend that you secure your mobile device with a passcode or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized access to the information stored within the App.
Our App does not collect any information from children. Since no data is transmitted to us, we do not knowingly collect or maintain information from anyone under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
