Megan Bachand

My name is Megan Bachand. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a minor in reading, and a master's degree in reading instruction. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, 5th grade, 7th grade English, and being a reading interventionist for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade; as well as tutoring using the Barton System. I love teaching children how to read and watching them grow into confident young learners.

My husband and I live on the West side of Rapid City. We have two children in heaven, Mariella and Melvin. We are expecting another child in July 2026! We are avid skiers and love hiking, boating, and camping in the summer!
