If you want a durable, wired audio solution that charges your device simultaneously while listening to high-resolution sound, choose LecLooc 2; if you need wireless freedom with extended battery life and secure fit for active toddlers, choose HAOYUYAN Earbuds.
This isn't a situation where you can simply pick the cheaper option or the one with the flashier name. You are looking at two completely different categories of hardware designed for entirely different use cases. One is a passive adapter that turns a modern port into an old-school headphone jack, while the other is a fully self-contained wireless system built for movement. When I think about finding best bluetooth earbuds for toddlers, the wireless nature of the HAOYUYAN unit is the only thing that makes sense for a child who won't sit still. The LecLooc 2 is a tool for connectivity, not a standalone listening device for a kid running around. Understanding this fundamental difference is the only way to avoid buying the wrong gear for your family.
• LecLooc 2: Its greatest strength is enabling simultaneous 60W fast charging and lossless Hi-Fi audio through a single USB-C port on compatible devices. Its biggest trade-off is that it requires a physical cable and cannot function as a standalone headset without an external pair of 3.5mm headphones plugged in. This pick is for parents or tech users who need a reliable bridge between modern ports and classic wired gear.
• HAOYUYAN Earbuds: Its biggest strength is the massive 80-hour total playtime combined with IPX7 waterproofing and secure ear hooks that prevent loss during activity. Its trade-off is that it relies entirely on Bluetooth 5.3 and lacks a traditional wired connection option. This pick is for active users, specifically those needing memory foam ear cushions headphones for toddlers (or soft silicone alternatives) who require a secure, sweat-proof fit.
• Who each pick is for: Choose LecLooc 2 if you have a device with only a USB-C port and need to listen to music while keeping your phone charged. Choose HAOYUYAN if you need wireless isolation and durability for a toddler who moves constantly.
The LecLooc 2 is a specialized piece of engineering designed to solve a specific compatibility problem. It is a 2-in-1 adapter that transforms a USB-C port into a functional hub for both audio and power. If you own a newer smartphone like an iPhone 16, Samsung S24, or a Google Pixel 9, you know these devices have eliminated the 3.5mm headphone jack. This adapter restores that functionality without sacrificing charging speed. It supports PD 3.0 fast charging up to 60W, meaning you can listen to music or take calls via a standard 3.5mm headset while your device recharges rapidly from a wall outlet.
For parents managing a household full of gadgets, this device offers a level of convenience that wireless solutions sometimes lack due to battery anxiety. The internal EJ899M chip ensures voltage stability, which is crucial when drawing power and audio data simultaneously. The construction features a tin-plated thicken copper core inside and a TPE plus aluminum alloy exterior, suggesting a build quality focused on longevity and signal integrity. It handles high-resolution audio output up to 96kHz and 24-bit, ensuring that if you plug in a good pair of wired headphones, you aren't losing any fidelity.
However, this product is not a set of earbuds itself. It is an accessory. You must already own a pair of 3.5mm headphones to make this work. This makes it less ideal for a toddler who might lose the buds easily but could be acceptable if you are pairing it with over-ear wired headphones that are harder to misplace. It is also strictly limited to devices with USB-C ports; it will not work with older Lightning or micro-USB devices. If your goal is to get a child to listen to stories or music without wires getting tangled or the device dying, this adapter alone does the job unless paired with a separate audio source. It is best suited for stationary listening or situations where you need to keep a tablet or phone charged for long periods, such as during a car ride where the vehicle's USB port provides power.

The HAOYUYAN BX17 earbuds are built with a very different philosophy in mind: mobility and endurance. These are true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds designed specifically for sports and active environments. The most striking feature for a parent concerned about a toddler losing their hearing aids or entertainment devices is the design. They come with elastic, soft ear hooks and three sizes of ear tips. This mechanical design ensures they stay securely in place, which is critical for children who are prone to pulling things off their ears or moving vigorously. Unlike loose in-ear buds that fall out, these hook-style designs wrap around the ear for retention.
Durability is another major selling point here. With an IPX7 waterproof rating, these earbuds can withstand sweat and water splashes. This makes them suitable for outdoor play, rainy days, or intense gym sessions. For a toddler, "sweat resistance" translates to "durability against spills and rough handling." The audio delivery comes from 14.3mm drivers, which are larger than average, promising punchy bass and crisp treble. The Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology helps minimize ambient noise, allowing a child to focus on their audio content even in a busy house or park.
The battery life on this unit is exceptional for its class. A single charge lasts 15 hours, and the included charging case provides eight additional full recharges, totaling 80 hours of playtime. This eliminates the daily charging routine that frustrates many parents. The dual LED display on the case shows the exact battery percentage, so you always know how much power is left before you pack it up. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.3, which uses Hall switch technology to automatically reconnect when you open the case, removing the need for manual setup every time. While the color is listed as red, the material is plastic, which keeps the weight down but means they are lightweight enough for small ears.
It is important to note that these are not just for adults. The age range description on the spec sheet says "Adult," but the form factor with the ear hooks suggests they are sized for larger ears. However, the inclusion of multiple ear tip sizes indicates some flexibility. If you are looking for best in ear headphones for toddlers, you must ensure the ear tips fit snugly. The touch controls allow for easy management of volume and calls, which is helpful if you need to adjust settings quickly. The lack of a physical wire is the primary benefit here, offering complete freedom of movement that no wired adapter can provide.
• Best for battery independence → HAOYUYAN Earbuds: The 80-hour total capacity means you rarely need to charge the case, whereas the LecLooc 2 requires a constant power source to function as a charger and audio pass-through.
• Best for active movement → HAOYUYAN Earbuds: The IPX7 rating and ear hooks make them safe for running and sweating, while the LecLooc 2 is a static adapter that relies on a cable that can snag.
• Best for audio fidelity (wired) → LecLooc 2: The support for 96kHz/24-bit audio via the copper core ensures lossless transmission, provided you have high-quality 3.5mm headphones to plug in.
• Best for ease of use → HAOYUYAN Earbuds: Automatic reconnection via the Hall switch and simple push-button controls remove the friction of pairing, unlike the manual plugging required by the adapter.
• Best for multi-device charging → LecLooc 2: It allows you to charge your phone at 60W while using audio, a unique capability the earbuds do not possess.
• Best for security against loss → HAOYUYAN Earbuds: The ear hook design physically secures the device to the user, reducing the risk of dropping them compared to standard buds or cables.
• Best for universal port compatibility → LecLooc 2: Works with a vast array of Android, Apple, and Windows devices that have USB-C ports, acting as a universal translator for audio.
• Best for weather resistance → HAOYUYAN Earbuds: The IPX7 rating protects against moisture, making them suitable for outdoor play, whereas the adapter has no such protection rating listed.
In my opinion, for the specific context of finding best bluetooth earbuds for toddlers, the HAOYUYAN Earbuds are the clear winner. The physics of a toddler's life—running, jumping, playing in the rain, and forgetting to charge devices—demands the wireless freedom and massive battery life that the HAOYUYAN BX17 offers. The ear hooks provide the necessary security to keep them in place, and the waterproofing adds a layer of peace of mind that a fragile adapter cannot match. The LecLooc 2 is an excellent tool for adults who need to keep their phones charged while using wired headsets, but it is fundamentally the wrong category of product for a child. If you need a solution that lets a toddler listen to stories without tangles or dead batteries, the HAOYUYAN is the only logical choice.
The HAOYUYAN earbuds feature multiple ear tip sizes and a secure hook design intended to fit various ear shapes. While the specs list the age range as "Adult," the physical design with adjustable tips makes them potentially suitable for older children if the fit is snug and comfortable, though parental supervision is always recommended.
Yes, the LecLooc 2 is specifically designed to support PD 3.0 fast charging up to 60W while simultaneously transmitting audio through a connected 3.5mm headset, allowing you to listen and charge at the same time.
Yes, the HAOYUYAN BX17 utilizes Bluetooth 5.3 technology, which ensures wide compatibility with most Bluetooth-enabled devices, including the latest iPhone models, Samsung Galaxy phones, and Google Pixels without requiring special apps.
The LecLooc 2 supports high-resolution audio up to 96kHz and 24-bit, which generally offers superior fidelity for wired connections compared to the compressed wireless transmission typical of Bluetooth earbuds like the HAOYUYAN.
