Mental Health Resources for Parents and Families

CCSD is working with the Cook Center for Human Connection to provide families with free access to resources focusing on mental health challenges through ParentGuidance.org

This new resource includes video courses on demand covering difficult parenting topics. It also offers individualized coaching for any parent/guardian in CCSD and weekly interactive webinars. Topics range from dealing with your child’s anxiety, emotional regulation, experiences with bullying, protecting your child on social media and what parents/guardians need to know about suicide prevention. 


Weekly Mental Health Webinars

Weekly webinars made for you to help you better connect with your child. These Webinars are live and confidential. Each session is roughly 60 minutes. There are new topics every week. You can sign up for as many as you want. Please select a session and sign in with your Zoom account or email. Sessions will be offered in Spanish and English.

Mobile Crisis Response Team (Mobile Crisis): Mobile Crisis responds to youth and families of youth in crisis, over the phone or in person. They offer telephone triage, crisis response, crisis stabilization, and after care. Phone: 702-486-7865.
