For Self-Pay or Out-of-Network Services:
Good Faith Estimate/No Surprises Act
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for health care services. This is to reduce any unexpected medical bills.
My rates are listed below, and a written estimate can be requested that includes a description of services, session fees, and diagnostic codes.
Initial Intake Evaluation (60 minutes): $230
Psychotherapy Session (55 minutes): $200
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Make sure you receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one (1) business day before your scheduled health care service.ย You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit No Surprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
