If you want a lightweight, high-sensitivity earbud with a modern flat-head design and replaceable cable flexibility for daily commuting, choose LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro; if you need deep bass, a spacious soundstage, and premium wood housing for critical listening on long rides, choose SIVGA M300.
• LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro: Its biggest strength is the ultra-lightweight build (~3.7g) combined with high sensitivity (110dB) that pairs easily with any device, but its trade-off is a standard frequency range limited to 20Hz-20kHz compared to extended audio options. This pick is best for commuters who prioritize comfort and portability over extreme audio extension.
• SIVGA M300: Its biggest strength lies in the massive 15.4mm driver paired with African ebony wood housing to create a wide soundstage and rich bass, though its higher impedance (64Ω) means it demands more power from your source. This pick is ideal for audiophiles seeking detailed, lifelike reproduction and don't mind carrying a slightly heavier unit.
The LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro is engineered for those who view their headphones as an essential, everyday tool rather than a stationary piece of equipment. The defining characteristic here is the weight. At approximately 3.7 grams for the earbud alone, this is an incredibly light in-ear monitor. When you pair that with a 1.2-meter cable that weighs just 22 grams, the total load on your ears is negligible. This matters significantly when you are wearing them for hours during a commute or while riding a motorcycle, where the vibration of the engine can amplify discomfort with heavier gear.
The acoustic architecture relies on a 14.2mm dynamic driver featuring a polyurethane dome with an LCP composite diaphragm. This setup aims to deliver a consistent acoustic experience across the full frequency spectrum of 20Hz to 20kHz. The sensitivity sits at a robust 110dB, which indicates that these earbuds will produce loud, clear volume even without a high-power amplifier. For riders using smartphones or basic Bluetooth transmitters, this high sensitivity ensures you won't struggle to hear your music or navigation prompts over wind noise.
The physical design features a flat-head shape crafted from high-precision aluminum alloy. This isn't just aesthetic; the flat profile helps the earbud sit flush against the concha of your ear, potentially improving the seal and passive isolation. The inclusion of a standard 0.78-2Pin replaceable cable is a major practical advantage. If you ever wear out your cable or want to upgrade to a different type of wire later, you aren't stuck replacing the entire earbud. The cable itself is made of high-purity oxygen-free copper with silver plating, designed to minimize signal loss. However, potential buyers should note that the frequency response caps at 20kHz, meaning it lacks the extended treble range found in some other high-fidelity models. If you are looking for the absolute widest possible frequency chart, this might feel slightly standard, but for most real-world music and voice content, the performance is ample.

This product is strictly for wired users who value a secure, low-profile fit above all else. It fits the rider who needs something that disappears on their head, offers immediate volume, and allows for future cable customization. It is less suitable for someone who wants a "warm," wood-heavy sound signature or requires a driver larger than 14mm for maximum bass impact.
The SIVGA M300 takes a fundamentally different approach, prioritizing acoustic resonance and material quality over pure lightweight portability. The core of this earphone is a substantial 15.4mm large dynamic driver. In the world of small drivers, size usually correlates with the ability to move air and produce deep, punchy bass. Coupled with a graphene-coated diaphragm, this driver is tuned to deliver a wide soundstage and richly detailed audio that feels authentic and lifelike. For a rider, this translates to music that feels immersive, cutting through the background roar of traffic with clarity and depth.
What truly sets the M300 apart is its construction. The housing combines African ebony wood with CNC-machined aviation aluminum. Ebony is dense and hard, which naturally absorbs unwanted vibrations. In audio engineering, vibration control is key to reducing resonance interference, resulting in cleaner mids and clearer details. The aluminum components ensure the fit remains ergonomic and durable. While this makes the unit slightly heavier and more substantial than the plastic or metal alternatives, the result is a premium feel that resists scratches and wear over time. The package also includes a carrying case, acknowledging that this is a piece of equipment worth protecting.
From an electrical standpoint, the M300 is built for higher fidelity but requires a bit more grunt to drive. It has an impedance of 64 ohms and a sensitivity of 109dB. While 109dB is still quite sensitive, the 64-ohm impedance is significantly higher than the 16 ohms found on the TRN Seahorse Pro. This means you will likely get better results if you use a dedicated headphone amplifier or a high-quality DAC rather than a direct phone jack. The frequency response extends up to 40kHz, offering a wider bandwidth than the standard 20kHz ceiling. This extra range captures subtle harmonics and air in the recording, providing a more expansive listening experience for critical tracks.
The included cable is a highlight of the package, utilizing Litz braided silver-plated OFC copper. This construction method uses multiple insulated strands to reduce electromagnetic interference and skin effect, preserving fine audio details during transmission. The cable length is not explicitly listed in the provided data, but the focus on signal integrity suggests it is optimized for performance. This model is perfect for the rider who treats their commute as a chance to listen to music properly, valuing the texture of the wood and the power of the bass over having the lightest possible gear. It is the choice for someone who wants to hear the difference between a well-recorded jazz track and a compressed file.
• Best for battery life and ease of use → Neither model has a battery since both are wired, but the LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro wins on compatibility because its 16Ω impedance and 110dB sensitivity will work perfectly with almost any smartphone or portable player without needing extra amplification.
• Best for bass and immersion → The SIVGA M300 is the clear winner here, thanks to its 15.4mm driver and graphene diaphragm, which push more air and provide the powerful, room-filling bass that smaller drivers simply cannot match.
• Best for lightweight comfort → If you are wearing headphones for six hours straight, the LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro is superior, weighing only ~3.7g per side compared to the more substantial build of the SIVGA.
• Best for soundstage and detail → The SIVGA M300 offers a wider frequency response (up to 40kHz) and a wooden enclosure that reduces resonance, creating a more spacious and refined soundscape for complex instrumentals.
• Best for durability and style → The SIVGA M300 features African ebony wood and aluminum, materials known for high density and scratch resistance, offering a more rugged and premium aesthetic than the standard aluminum alloy of the TRN.
• Best for cable longevity → Both offer high-quality cables, but the LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro uses a standard 0.78-2Pin connector, making it easier to swap out for third-party cables if you want to experiment with different lengths or connectors in the future.
• Best for wind noise management → While neither actively cancels noise, the LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro's flat-head design may offer a more secure, low-profile seal in the ear canal, which can be beneficial when fighting wind pressure on a bike.
• Best overall value for the audiophile → The SIVGA M300 provides a more complete package including a carrying case and a specialized Litz-braided cable, appealing to listeners who care about every detail of the signal chain.
For a rider specifically hunting for the best headphone for motorcycle use, I would personally buy the SIVGA M300. While the TRN Seahorse Pro is undeniably lighter and easier to drive, the SIVGA M300's combination of a 15.4mm driver, graphene diaphragm, and African ebony wood housing creates a listening experience that is far more engaging and immersive. On a motorcycle, the ambient noise is constant, and you need a sound signature that can cut through that roar with authority and warmth. The M300 delivers that rich bass and spacious soundstage that keeps the ride interesting, whereas the TRN feels a bit too clinical for long-distance enjoyment.
However, if your primary concern is minimizing fatigue during very long rides where every gram counts, the TRN Seahorse Pro is the safer bet. But for the true best hi res open ear headphones for motorcycle enthusiasts who want to savor their music, the SIVGA M300 is the superior choice. It transforms a noisy commute into a concert hall experience, making it the best on ear headphones for motorcycle travel for anyone who values audio quality above sheer minimalism.
Both models are in-ear monitors which provide passive isolation, but neither has active noise cancellation. The SIVGA M300's heavy bass response can help mask low-frequency road rumble, while the TRN Seahorse Pro's tight fit may help with wind sealing.
You can run the LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro directly from a phone due to its low 16Ω impedance. The SIVGA M300 has a 64Ω impedance, so while it works with phones, you will get noticeably better dynamics and volume with a dedicated amplifier or high-output source.
The SIVGA M300 supports a frequency range up to 40kHz, capturing more ultra-high frequencies than the LEAUDIO TRN Seahorse Pro, which tops out at the standard 20kHz limit.
Yes, the TRN Seahorse Pro features a standard 0.78-2Pin connector, allowing you to replace the cable with any compatible aftermarket option, whereas the SIVGA M300 comes with a fixed cable solution.
