The Rubik's Cube is a logic game invented by Ernő Rubik in 1974. The cube was originally created as a physics class assignment to help his students understand 3D objects. When he first solved his cube, he realized that he had created a puzzle. The cube appeared in more and more stores (under the name Magic Cube), and became more and more famous. In 1982, the first Rubik's Cube competition was held. Today, frequent competitions are held all over the world.
