In this subject, we are going to uncover more about the rock cycle.
Sedimentary Rock
Limestone
Metamorphic Rock
Gneiss
Igneous Rock
Basalt
But firstly, what is a rock cycle? Well, a rock cycle is the process of the transformations between the three main rocks, Igneous Rocks, Metamorphic Rocks and Sedimentary Rocks.
At the top of where every rock happens relies on Magma. When Magma crystallizes, it becomes an Igneous rock. But the Igneous Rock can become Magma again by melting. When Igneous rocks earthen, erodes and gets deposited, it becomes sediments. And due to compaction and cementation, those Sediments form together and become Sedimentary rocks. But, Sedimentary rocks can go back to being sediments by weathering erosion and deposition. When Sedimentary Rocks get heat and pressure, they become Metamorphic Rocks. Metamorphic Rocks can also be obtained by Igneous Rocks undergoing heat and pressure. Metamorphic Rocks also connect with sediments as when Metamorphic Rocks get weathering, erosion and deposition, they become Sediments. And finally, when Metamorphic Rocks get melted, they become Magma.
