Canary Islands

I am excited to introduce you to my hometown - the Canary Islands. This Spanish archipelago located off the northwestern coast of Africa, in the Atlantic Ocean. While geographically closer to Africa, the islands are politically and culturally connected to Europe, as they are an autonomous community of Spain. The Canary Islands consist of seven main islands and several smaller ones, and they are known for their beautiful beaches, unique landscapes, and mild climate, which makes them a popular tourist destination year-round.
