On 12 August 2026, Learning Space Foundation successfully conducted a career awareness programme at NKT High School & Junior College, Thane, as part of the Axis Max Life Udaan Project, supported by Axis Max Life Insurance Ltd. The programme was conducted in four sessions for students from Grades 9 to 12.
Mr. Nitin Orayan, Founder of Learning Space Foundation, conducted and guided the sessions, introducing students to career opportunities and the Udaan initiative. Fifth Career Day in Chinchghar

On 3 August 2026, Learning Space Foundation successfully hosted its Fifth Career Day at H. V. Patil Vidyalay & Junior College, Chinchghar, engaging more than 900 students from Grades 9 to 12. . A defining highlight of the programme was that it was entirely conducted by rural professionals for rural youth—demonstrating how local role models can inspire the next generation. About the Project

In today’s rapidly changing education and employment landscape, students—especially those from rural and semi-urban backgrounds—often lack access to structured career guidance and reliable information to make informed decisions. To address this critical gap, Learning Space Foundation, with the support of Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, is implementing the Axis Max Life – Udaan Project, a comprehensive Career Guidance, Awareness, Counselling, and Skill-Building Programme for students from Classes 9 to 12 during the academic year 2025–26.

The project aims to empower adolescents at key academic transition stages by equipping them with self-awareness, essential life skills, career clarity, and confidence to make informed academic and career choices.

On Monday, 21st July 2025, the Udaan project was formally launched at Patuck Technical Institute in the presence of representatives from Axis Max Life Insurance Ltd and Learning Space Foundation (LSF). The event was a milestone moment, introducing the vision of Udaan to school leaders, teachers, and students, and generating much enthusiasm for the modules ahead.

To address this, LSF has designed a series of Career Guidance and Skill-Building Modules that provide students with both holistic awareness and practical tools:

Self-Awareness & Identity Building – helping students understand their strengths, values, and uniqueness.
Goal Setting & Decision Making – enabling them to set realistic goals and make informed choices.
Communication & Presentation Skills – building confidence to express ideas clearly and effectively.
Time Management & Discipline – fostering consistency, focus, and productivity.
Digital & Financial Literacy – preparing students for responsible living in a connected world.

Objectives of the Programme

To assess students’ interests, abilities, and aptitude through structured psychometric assessments
To guide students in selecting appropriate academic streams and career pathways
To strengthen decision-making, communication, and time management skills
To actively engage schools, parents, and teachers in the career guidance process
