Privacy Policy Effective June 26, 2026
Summary Leanify is designed to be private by default. The information you log — your profile, weigh-ins, food diary, workouts, body measurements, water intake, and daily check-ins — is stored only on your device. Leanify has no user accounts and no server that collects your fitness data, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Information stored on your device When you use Leanify you can enter: profile details (name, sex, date of birth, and height), body weight entries, food entries (name, meal, calories, and macronutrients), workouts and strength sets, body metrics, water intake, and daily check-ins (sleep, energy, mood, steps, and notes). This information is saved locally using Apple's on-device storage and stays on your device unless you choose to export or back it up.
Health and fitness data Your health and fitness entries are personal to you. They are used only to power the features inside the app — such as your calorie and macro targets, charts, streaks, and coaching tips. They are never transmitted to us, never sold, and never used for advertising or shared with data brokers.
Sharing and export Your data leaves your device only when you deliberately export it. The Export options in your profile let you generate CSV files and share them through the standard iOS share sheet to a destination you pick (for example, Files, Mail, or another app). What happens to an exported file after you share it is governed by the service or app you send it to.
Subscriptions and purchases Leanify offers an optional Pro subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID; we never receive your payment-card details. To check and restore your entitlement, we use RevenueCat, which receives a randomly generated, pseudonymous app user identifier together with purchase and receipt information needed to validate your subscription. This is used solely to determine whether Pro features are unlocked.
Analytics and tracking Leanify does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not request the advertising identifier.
Deleting your data You are always in control of your data. You can delete individual entries at any time, or remove everything at once using Settings > Delete Account, which permanently erases all locally stored data and returns the app to its initial state. Deleting the app from your device also removes the data stored on it. Note that an active subscription is billed by Apple and is not cancelled by deleting your data — manage it in the iOS Settings app under your Apple ID.
Children Leanify is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date shown above and within the app.
