Leafnote ("the App") is a fully offline personal journal application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect.
Leafnote does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
All journal entries, mood tags, settings, and optional PIN lock information are stored exclusively on your device using local on-device storage (Hive database). No information is uploaded to any external server.
The App does not require an internet connection to function.
Leafnote does not send any data to servers, cloud services, or third parties.
Leafnote may request the USE_BIOMETRIC permission solely to provide the optional biometric unlock feature (such as fingerprint or face unlock).
Biometric authentication is performed entirely by your device's operating system. Leafnote never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric information.
Leafnote does not include:
Analytics services
Advertising SDKs
Crash reporting services
Tracking technologies of any kind
Leafnote does not integrate with any third-party services.
Leafnote is intended for users aged 13 and older. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
Your data remains stored only on your device.
The optional PIN lock provides an additional layer of privacy. However, you are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
