We’re gathering LeaderShape participants, facilitators, program coordinators, board members, and supporters from the last 40 years to reflect on where we’ve been and celebrate where we’re headed. Don’t miss the chance to:

Location

Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus (LUREC)
Woodstock, Illinois

Located in beautiful Bull Valley, LUREC is a 100-acre rural campus designed for growth, immersive environmental education, and professional development. LUREC has hosted many LeaderShape Institute sessions over the last decade, including the July National Session for the past three years.

Schedule

Transportation to LUREC (3:00-4:00 p.m.)

Optional: Take LeaderShape-provided transportation from Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago to LUREC.

Welcome Reception and Opening Remarks (4:00-5:15 p.m.)

Mix and mingle, hear from LeaderShape staff, and reflect on experiences with LeaderShape.

National Session Vision Showcase (5:15-6:00 p.m.)

Engage with the July National Session participants’ visions through Tomorrow’s Headlines.

Dinner with Participants (6:00-7:00 p.m.)

Sit among the July National Session’s participants and connect!

Closing Reception (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

Learn what’s next for LeaderShape off the foundation we've established over the last 40 years.

Transportation to Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Optional: Take LeaderShape-provided transportation from LUREC to Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago.

Lodging and Travel

We recommend booking at Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago, as the free shuttle to LUREC will depart from there at 3:00 p.m. You are welcome to book with the LeaderShape link here.

Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago

Address: 9300 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Rosemont, IL 60018

The hotel offers a regular shuttle to and from the terminal. For pickup, go to Terminal 2, Arrivals Curbside (Lower Level), Door 2A. The ride to the hotel takes 5-7 minutes.

Parking is free at LUREC, and there is no need for any documentation (special tags, permits, etc.). Follow the LeaderShape signs to the Old Chapel for check-in.

What is included in the celebration ticket price?

The ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres, dinner, a 40th Anniversary T-shirt, a 40th Anniversary tote bag, and free shuttle service to and from Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago and LUREC.

What is the dress code for the celebration?

We’ll be at a session of The LeaderShape Institute, so feel free to dress as such! Casual clothing, including wearing your favorite LeaderShape T-shirt, is welcome.

Will alcohol be served?

Because we’ll be at a session of The LeaderShape Institute in which participants have agreed to no substance use, we want to honor that we’re entering into their space by not serving alcohol for celebration attendees.

What can I expect at the celebration?

Expect lots of connecting and re-connecting with LeaderShape community members, reminiscing about past Institute sessions, engagement with past Institute materials and artifacts, and more opportunities to contribute to LeaderShape through testimonials and raffles.

Will the celebration be live-streamed?

Unfortunately, we will not live-stream the event. Be sure to check our social media after the celebration for a recap video.
