LB Super Market ("we," "our," or "us") operates the LB Super Market mobile application (the "App"), a grocery ordering and delivery service. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and what we will never do with it.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We never sell your personal data.
1. WHAT YOU GIVE US
Only what an order needs:
- Your name, email address and mobile number
- Delivery addresses you save, with any landmark or instructions
- What you ordered and how you chose to pay
- Payment status and transaction references (such as payment IDs), so we can confirm your orders. We use Razorpay as our payment processor. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details — Razorpay handles those under its own privacy and security practices.
- A profile photo, if you add one
- A photo of your handwritten shopping list, if you use that feature. It is used only so our team can process your order.
2. WHAT THE APP COLLECTS ON ITS OWN
Technical information needed to run the app and fix it when it breaks:
- Device type, Android version and network type
- A notification token, so we can send order updates — removed when you sign out
- Crash reports, if the app closes unexpectedly
- Basic app usage and diagnostic information, to help us maintain and improve the App
3. LOCATION
If you allow it, the App reads your location for one purpose only: filling in a new delivery address when you tap "Fetch My Location", so you do not have to type it.
It is optional. Decline it, or turn it off later, and you can still add addresses by hand and everything else works normally. We do not track you in the background, and we do not keep your location beyond the address you choose to save.
4. HOW WE USE IT
To run your account and your orders — nothing else:
- Create and maintain your account
- Process, prepare and deliver your orders, and process payments through Razorpay
- Send you order updates, delivery notifications, offers and store announcements
- Verify you when you sign up, sign in or reset a password
- Provide customer support
- Prevent fraud, and meet Indian tax and accounting law
5. WHO ELSE SEES IT
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. It is shared only where needed to operate the App:
- Razorpay, if you pay online
- The delivery staff member handling your order — name, phone number and delivery address only
- Google Firebase, our backend provider, which stores and processes app data (database, sign-in and file storage) on our behalf
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LB Super Market, our users, or others
6. HOW WE PROTECT IT
- Everything between your phone and our servers is encrypted
- Passwords are never stored in readable form
- Only staff who need customer records can see them
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
For as long as your account is active, or as long as tax and accounting law requires, or until a dispute is resolved. After you ask us to delete it, we keep only anonymised records that cannot identify you, plus anything we are legally obliged to retain.
8. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
- You can update or delete your saved addresses and profile information at any time within the App.
- You can turn off notifications or withdraw location permission in your device settings.
- You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and personal data by emailing lbsupermarket2026@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we find that we have, we delete it.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for major changes, by a notice in the App.
