The advent of accessible manufacturing technologies has fundamentally transformed the landscape of Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects. While these advancements have empowered enthusiasts to pursue increasingly ambitious builds, complex projects—such as tennis ball machines—often rely on conventional tools and overlook secondary design considerations like noise, weight, and size.
The LBn Project proposes to overcome these limitations by embracing the principles of modern and accessible manufacturing, emphasizing simplicity and replicability. Proposed models can be built with standard materials and off-the-shelf hardware, demonstrating how contemporary fabrication tools can enable the creation of practical and portable training devices.
