Elisa Perez played point guard and shooting guard positions for four years on the girls varsity basketball team, goalie for four years on the varsity field hockey team, and goalie for her freshman year and third man for sophomore through senior year on the varsity lacrosse team.
In 1999, Eliza amassed many awards in field hockey including all Monmouth and All-Shore 2nd-Team, Coaches All-Division Team Shore Conference, All-Area Team, 1st Team All-Monmouth, Group 3 2nd Team, All-state 2nd team and player of the week.
In 2000 she continued to excel. The Star-Ledger Proclaim her the goalie to watch as she made 1st-team All Shore, Asbury Park Press player of the week, 1st-team All Monmouth, 2nd-team All-State, and first-team Group 3 All-state. She was also recruited to attend John Hopkins “College Connection” 2000.
As a lacrosse player, in 1997 she made 2nd-team All-Shore goalie. In total, Eliza received 12 Varsity letters. In 2001, she was recruited to attend Rutgers University and was also off offered a full scholarship. Elisa graduated from Rutgers University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Art in sports management and successfully received pre-k through 3 certification from Montclair University. She is currently an elementary school teacher in the Long Branch School District.
