Layla Sodini

My name is Layla Sodini, and I am a 2025 CF/LF/RHP. I currently play for the Lady Dukes 18u - Swope, and attend high school at South Fayette. I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old (about 10 years now). I've learned a lot while playing softball like how to work as a team, hard work, and dedication. Softball has always been the one thing that has been constant in my life and has shown me the importance of commitment. I am the type of person that wants to put in effort to be successful. The biggest lesson I have learned in life is that things are not handed to you, you have to work for it. I want to earn my spot on every field I step foot on.

I am a duel athlete so on top of playing softball, I run varsity indoor and outdoor track for my high school.  I love the conditioning track gives me for softball season and also shows me my own personal improvements. I will be working at Stride Fitness this year and I am very excited because I love the gym atmosphere. Being physically fit and healthy is one of my biggest priorities and I enjoy taking care of myself.
