مكتبة القوانين ("the App") is a legal-reference application. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing a reliable tool for researching legal texts. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled within the App.
The App is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share your personal information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location). The App requires no user account and no sign-in.
To support its ongoing availability, the App includes analytics features that require network access. The App requests the INTERNET permission to connect to third-party services. However, all core legal texts and fonts remain bundled locally inside the App so you can still read and browse the laws when offline.
The App utilizes the Google Play Services ID (AD_ID) to analyze app usage.
Control over your data: You can reset this identifier or opt-out of personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).
To provide a smooth reading experience, the App saves a small amount of preference data strictly on your device using its built-in local storage. This includes:
Bookmarked articles
Your last reading position in each law
Preferred font size
Light/Dark theme choices
This data stays on your device, is completely inaccessible to the developer, and is automatically removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data.
The App allows Android's standard Auto Backup feature, so the local preferences listed in Section 4 may be included in the cloud backup that your device makes to your own Google account. This backup is managed entirely by the Android operating system and your Google account settings—the developer has no access to it. You can disable this backup in your device's system settings.
Apart from the network permissions (INTERNET and AD_ID) required for system functionality, the App does not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, or personal media files.
The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect or target personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). The third-party tools integrated adhere to Google Play’s Families Policy regarding identifier usage where applicable.
The App is provided for reference and research purposes only. It is not an official source of law and is not a substitute for the official government publications (such as the Official Gazette).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in functionality or app store policies. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact the developer directly.
