Request File

UPDATE 9/1/2020: The law practice has been permanently closed since February 10, 2020. All clients were notified by mail in February that the original deadline to pick up their file was June 30, 2020.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and health restrictions issued by the State of California and County of Santa Clara, as well as the permanent closure of our office, in-person file pick-up is no longer available.

​In July, 2020, we transitioned to a file by mail distribution system as a client courtesy. For your convenience, we also extended our file request deadline by an additional sixty (60) days, which ended on August 31, 2020.

​ALL CLIENTS HAVE NOW BEEN GIVEN OVER 6 MONTHS TO REQUEST THEIR FILE. NOW, OUR FILE BY MAIL POLICY HAS CHANGED TO A FILE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM.

​Effective September 1, 2020, all client files have been sent to an offsite secured storage facillity. Client files are be stored securely at no cost to the client.

​After September 1, all file requests received will be considered a late request.You will still be able to request your file by mail. However additional fees will apply, including research, retrieval, transportation and trip charges to deliver the file to the Gilroy area ranging from approximately $30.00 to $60.00 (or more) per file, depending upon the urgency of the request. These fees are imposed by the storage facility to retrieve your file. All applicable file retrieval, shipping and related fees are to be paid by the client directly to the storage facility. We will provide you with a full disclosure of applicable fees in advance so that you may decide which retrieval option is best for you.
