Laure Flapan
About Me:
I am an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at Michigan State University.
My research is in algebraic geometry with an emphasis on Hodge theory and algebraic cycles. I like to think about the interplay between cohomology and the geometry, topology, and arithmetic of algebraic varieties.
I received my PhD in 2017 from UCLA under the direction of Burt Totaro. I was then an Instructor and NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Northeastern University.
My research is partially supported by NSF grant DMS-2200800.
